Deadpool
This title sequence is very clever and shot well as it it one still image and the camera flows around it zooming in on detail somewhat relevant to the writing on the screen. the intro shows that the movie is funny as well as action packed, the slow motion movement is affective as so much is going on.
The Conjuring
The conjuring's intro is a good way to do a horror title sequence because how they just film someone turning pages on a folder according to the music in a very dark room, it creates a very real and scary feel to it and is extremely simple as well. it also sort of tells a story and a little miss-en-scene. this title sequence is similar to my idea for mine, i like this sort of style as it is simple but very effective. the whole thing is filmed by printing out images and overlays and put them over a light title and is then filmed from a birds eye shot turning the pages over revealing the actors and director and the names of the protagonist family. this intro will appeal to horror fans as it has old pictures and news articles that look authentic with interests the viewer more and keeps them watching if they believe its a true story.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
This short intro is completely CGI and is very entertaining to watch because of how fast everything is moving and that it is all dark colours apart from the fire that lights up the screen and draws your attention. theres a story behind it all so it keeps your attention, it fits with the genera well as it is different and dark (like the movie). it also shows what sort of relationship the protagonists have with each other with is good because they have an idea what the characters are like so its not too confusing. the shot types are mostly close ups of the cgi faces being pulled apart and morphed
This is lacking a lot of detail and terminology. Please use the questions on my blog post to complete these fully.
